Josep Betriu i Tàpies had a dream of becoming a great inventor and making people's lives better. Due to family ties, he decided to move from the Pyrenees to Reus with the intention of founding his own company. Josep decided to specialize in coffee makers and thus Valira was born. We started marketing the best quality Italian coffee machines and thus we began to conquer the stomachs (and kitchens) of the residents of Reus

Little by little, what used to be a small company grew and gained fame. Josep decided to launch new products on the market, and that is how what are now known as Valira classics were born: the Chispón lighter, the sugar bowl and the Dosy dispenser, products that came from the imagination of the Pyrenean inventor. Later, Josep entered the cooking market and food carriers. Since then we have been working and innovating every day in order to improve ourselves and respond to the needs of our consumers.
